Ayesa will work as consultant for Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL), public company who belongs to Indian Railways, for the design and construction of a section of approximately 15 km, in the line Obulavaripalle Venkatachalam, in the Port connectivity of Krishnapatnam. The project will be fulfilled in Joint Venture with the American company Wilbur Smith, through its Indian subsidiary Wilbur Smith Associates Inc.
This contract, for an amount over 5.3 million Euros, has among its main features two big tunnels, with aggregated length of more than 8 km. Ayesa's experience in different tunnel projects has been a decisive factor in the evaluation of the proposals.edificación.
The project consists on a first phase of design, that it will have duration of eleven months, and during which the whole section will be designed, as well as the preparation of tender documents and assistance to RVNL in the bidding process. The second phase consists on the supervision of the work, with duration of 54 months.
The section goes trough a forest hilly area at the south of Andra Pradesh's state, Nevertheless, the project office is located in Chennai, the capital of the Tamil Nadu´s state, since it’s the nearest city to the emplacement and where the RVNL's delegation that supervises the project is located.
